Hockey Gear Check began with a simple yet all-too-common problem: forgotten hockey equipment.

As a hockey parent, I experienced the stress of arriving at the rink only to discover my child was missing shin pads, a mouthguard, or a water bottle. These moments led to frantic last-minute purchases, borrowing from other families, or worst of all, having to tell my excited young player they couldn't participate.

After one particularly chaotic morning that involved three separate trips between home and the rink, I decided there had to be a better way. That's when Hockey Gear Check was born - a simple, free, and effective way to ensure no piece of hockey equipment is ever left behind again.

Built by a hockey parent for hockey parents, this tool is designed to make the hockey experience more enjoyable for everyone involved - players, parents, and coaches alike.
